Pre-Schooler Auslan in the BUSH
TIME: Mondays 9.30am – 10.30am
FIRST SESSION: Monday 24th July
VENUE: Mandurang South Hall, Mandurang South
In the bush surrounding – this is an outdoor class
Parent/carer stays and participates alongside child.
Bush activities as well as mat activities.
Outdoor/nature activities include: Bush Scavenger Hunts; bush weavings; mandelas; nature rubbings; painting and lots more.
Craft & colouring in.
Children will require outdoor, wet weather clothing for this bush program.
Learning Beginner Auslan including;
- Conversation and Greetings
- HOLME
- Fingerspelling
- Deaf Culture
- Auslan Grammar (basic)
- Lots of vocab and phrases across 8 x Language Tree Modules of learning
$178 for the 9-week Program (weekly 60min classes)
The price of our programs works out to approx. $22 per class per child, including GST.

We’ll explore some of the elements of Deaf Culture in an age-appropriate way.
Your child will learn the fundamentals of Auslan and set themselves on a pathway to fluency, including fingerspelling the alphabet, learning how to fingerspell their name, learning about HOLME, the vowels, basic conversation/greetings (and these will become immersive/voice-off in subsequent weeks).
They’ll learn how to ask questions, and we’ll teach them lots of core sign language vocab including colors, food, drinks, body parts, animals, actions etc.
There will be LOTS of:
