Daytime: Monday 1st May – Monday 12th June
Evening: Tuesday 2nd May – Tuesday 13th June

$320 for the 9-week Program
Weekly 1.5hr classes, 2hr classes in weeks 4 & 9.
The price of our programs works out to $22 per hour (or around $35 per week)
Payment Plans are available so talk to us if cost / budgeting is an issue.

There’s a few public holidays during this period…
Friday 15 April – 22 April EASTER Weekend / Week – No classes
Monday 25 April – Public Holiday ANZAC Day – No classes

Queensland times will be 1hr earlier due to daylight savings in VIC/NSW.
Daylight savings ends on Sunday 3/4/2022.
QLD times will then be the same as the listed class times.

  • Deaf Culture. You will learn about the Deaf community and important aspects of culture and communicating with Deaf people. We explore the Deaf World, concepts such as sign names, terminology, gaining a Deaf person’s attention, how to identify the Deaf Community, variation, technology and lots more.
  • What is Sign Language? What is Auslan? Where/how is it being used around the world today.
  • How to greet others and introduce yourself
  • Fingerspelling.
  • Give and request personal details such as phone numbers and addresses.
  • You will learn the basics of sentence structure
  • Vocab – Greetings and Introductions, Question Words, Family/Relationships, Health Industry, Double Letters, Timelines, Colours, Verbs, Emotions.
  • You will also learn Numbers 0 – 100, thousands, millions, billions, (all cardinal numbers), in-corporations of numbers into age, time, timelines, etc.
  • Grammar – HOLME, Classifiers, Sentence Structure, Negation and Affirmation, How to express agreement and disagreement, Directional Verbs, Inflection, FS patterns
